Jo Thoburn


Jo Thoburn is the President and CEO of the Fairfax Christian School and USACompete.

Before being selected to head the Fairfax Christian School, Mrs. Thoburn owned two businesses in northern Virginia. She also has worked and served on the board of directors and advisory boards for several non-profit organizations in the Washington, D.C. area.

She has written on education issues, American culture and free enterprise. She has been a speaker at educational conferences and to parent and student groups in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

She lives in Vienna, Virginia, with her husband David.  They have seven children and three grandchildren.

Jo Thoburn has been featured at educational conferences and parent and student groups in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.  She focuses on the benefits of a quality education, selecting the right education and career paths, understanding the U.S. Education system and doing what you love.

Mrs. Thoburn has also served as a surrogate speaker for dozens of Republican candidate across Virginia.
